Solar panels price varies between capacities. That means, price per watt for 1 kWp panels is different from that for 10kWp panels of the same brand and model. It may also vary between suppliers.

These panels perform well under shadows, at the marketeer says. But my doubt is that, are solar panels meant for shadowy conditions? Definitely not !!! If there is bright sunlight then why do one need such panels? Is it worth to spend more for such panels? Just keep in mind that if there is not much difference in production between thosee panels, then definitely it is not worth it.

As I said above, panel price varies between capacities. Normally, if you are buying a single panel you may need to pay @Rs.28/- per watt (Including tax), as of today (06-08-2021).
It may go beyond Rs.32/- per watt for half cut cells and even more than that for quarter cut cells and with more cuts…
How to choose solar panel?
Panel efficiency is the most important factor to consider. Always look for high efficiency panels as it can convert more sunlight into electricity. As efficiency goes high, more current will be produced. No need to spent more on panels for mere technological improvements although the efficiency rate is the same. Go to the panel manufacturing companies website and download the specification sheet to know about efficiency and other details.
Another major parameter to be noted is the panels Open Circuit Voltage (Voc).Have a close look at this value. Higher the value is the better. Go for panels that are having a high efficiency as well as good Open Circuit Voltage..
Apart from the parameters mentioned above, you should consider the Short Circuit Current (Isc) also. Always choose a panel that offers high Short Circuit Current (Isc). Normally mono crystalline panels offer DC current between 9 and 10 Ampere. High quality panels can offer 9.8 to 10A.
There are other factors that may determine the durability of the panels. Almost all the panel manufacturer follow the same standards. Therefore, there is no point in taking those factors into consideration. Aluminium panel frames will give better longevity. Warranty of the panels will be for 10 Years. During this period the manufacturer may replace the panel if the production doesn’t meet the offering. Breakage wont be covered under warranty under any circumstances. The panel warranty may extent to 25 Years. But after the first 10 years the warranty will be only for production.
